Today garden club assembled the wormery and put the worms in their new home. Class three will be looking after them now so they will be our worm experts.
Students in Christ Church School, We are looking forward to visiting you and seeing your garden projects on Wed, March 20. We are hoping to learn what you like best about gardening and what your favorite projects are. Which vegetables are your favorites? Mary Meyer from the University of Minnesota
Vermiculture is awesome! How much food waste from the school do you hope to be able to compost with your worms?
ReplyDeleteWe are not sure yet because we have not had them long enough. Class 6
DeleteWonderful! I started a vermicompost bin this weekend. Do you use any guidelines or recipes to ensure the waste isn't too sugary, acidic, etc.? Thanks
ReplyDeleteYes there are guidelines we are following on the wormery. If you have any recipes please share them with us. Class 6
